Arne Jacobsen design for Louis Poulsen, 1960.
Designed in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhaguen, the AJ wall lamp is now world renowned in the lighting industry.
Today considered an icon of Scandinavian design, it stands for elegance and simplicity.
The AJ wall lamp emits asymmetrical, strong and direct light, guided downwards. The head can be adjusted and inclined to ensure good lighting condition. The inside of the shade is painted white, which makes the light more comfortable.
To mark the 50th anniversary of the launch of the AJ lamp family, 5 new finishes were introduced, bringing the number of available colors to 8.
