Verner Panton design.


Designed in 1960, the Moon lamp is one of Verner Panton’s first creations. Its timeless form and quality of light, which gave the lamp its name, still seduce interior designers around the world.


Its 10 vertical lacquered white disks which form a fan around the light bulb are mobile and allow the user to endlessly play with the light. It is indeed possible to open and close the shade by moving the disks, to increase or decrease the intensity of the light.


The light is partly reflected by the inside surface of the rings, and partly diffused through the openings, with low intensity. The pendant therefore diffuses homogeneous, soft light, for optimal visual comfort.


Verner Panton’s signature is engraved on the metal end-piece of the electric cable and guarantees the origin and quality of the lamp.
