At its origins the lounge chair born in 1938 in Argentina. Il has been created by 3 young designers from Argentina who all had worked previously with Le Corbusier. It became quickly a big success and inspire many furniture manufacturers by the years. Such manufacturers as Artek and Knoll will produce their version during many years.

Produced in Denmark, the butterfly chair has a high back that support very well the back and head. The leather used comes from Argentina and is a high quality leather naturally tanned. The same leather is also used for making horse saddles.

You can easily adjust the hight of the head by a solid stainless steel balance weight behind.

The structure is welded in one piece at the craftmanship.
