Designed in 1971, the Panthella floor lamp is one of Verner Panton’s most famous designs. Panthella originally stemmed from the idea of a lamp which shade but also base should both be used as reflectors.
The curved shape of the lamp is characteristic of the Danish designer’s work, who, above all sought to create objects with an innovative and futuristic design.
The source of light is elegantly hidden behind its hemispherical milky white acrylic shade, which emits lovely soft lighting for diffuse ambient lighting.
If many different colors have been tested throughout the years, the lamp is now exclusively produced in white, which is consistent with Panton’s minimalist designs.
The Panthella floor lamp’s graceful shape makes it an easy choice for any stylish room.
