CHAISE MO 8000

Design Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sorensen, 1981

The 8000 series have been a design icon since 1981.

The furniture is based on a unique and patented production technology without the use of screws and dowels, which makes the furniture incredibly strong and very flexible despite its low weight. The chair has been part of the education of many Danes in schools and institutional interiors.

In 2021, Magnus Olesen brought back the 80's by relaunching the iconic 8000 series chair in 9 new colours - all in lacquered beech. The colours of the lacquered chairs are the designers' hand-picked colours.
