The iconic shelving system ROYAL SYSTEM® was designed in 1948 by legendary Danish designer and manufacturer Poul Cadovius. It was one of the world's first wall-mounted furniture systems and was created on the innovative principle to move the furniture off the floor and onto the walls.

The iconic ROYAL SYSTEM® shelving system is one of the world's first wall-mounted furniture systems, created on the innovative principle of moving furniture from the floor to the wall. 

ROYAL SYSTEM® consists of wooden wall rails, shelves with brass or stainless steel hangers and various cabinets. The system can be customised in many individual combinations - either as a modern office system or as a bookcase with various cabinets. As far back as the 1960s, ROYAL SYSTEM® was known for its versatility and was regarded as the shelving system offering "up to 16 million possible combinations".

Assembly elements : ( not compatible with the old version before 1985 )

- rails: possible heights 70 cm, 100 cm or 200 cm

- Shelves (2 brass or stainless steel uprights included):  

  W80 x H1,9 cm x D (24 cm or 30 cm or 60 cm )

- desk: W80 x D38 x H42.4 cm

- cupboard with 3 drawers: W80 x D38 x H42.4 cm

- cupboard with 2 doors and 1 shelf: W80 x D38 x H42.4 cm

- magazine rack
