On the occasion of Hans J. Wegner's 110th birthday in 2024, we celebrate Wegner's impressive design heritage.

Historically, teak was commonly used by Wegner to make some of the combination chairs of the 1950s-1960s. Teak is characterised by its high strength, stability and vibrant colour, with dark stripes that follow the growth rings. This vibrant wood complements Wegner's iconic furniture.
