Jute and wool - a new composition of materials in the Kinnesand collection - is a carpet designed and manufactured with a view to the responsible use of resources. Jute is a plant-based material chosen for its strength and ecological qualities. It comes from India, where it is grown, manufactured and spun before being woven by hand.    As jute and some of the wool are undyed, fewer dyes, less water and less energy are used.
