Design Arne Jacobsen, 1959
Arne Jacobsen designed in 1959 the "Gryden" chair - in English meaning the Pot - for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, together with the great Danish design icons such as the Egg and Swan armchair. It decorated both the sophisticated Orchid bar and the astonishing winter garden. The armchair was relaunched in January 2018 by Fritz Hansen, with the purpose of complementing contemporary interiors with yet another 50s design from Arne Jacobsen.
The design of the Pot chair is modern and timeless. It is suitable to both private and public interiors. It is available in a variety of fabrics and leathers.
