First presented by Finn Juhl at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild exhibition in 1940, the Pelican Chair quickly made a name for itself with its unique shape and bold, sturdy legs. Defined by a soft, organic shape, this low chair wraps you in a comforting embrace, creating an inviting, soothing atmosphere. It is made with a cushion and covered by hand in Denmark with textile, sheepskin or leather. The legs are available in oak, walnut or black.

Finn Juhl's fascination with surrealism is clearly visible in the Pelican Chair. Of all his designs, the Pelican Chair is perhaps the most ahead of its time. The Pelican Chair is produced in two versions - with and without buttons.
