Arne Jacobsen design by Georg Jensen, 1957.
This cutlery set was designed in 1956 by the architect and designer Arne Jacobsen for the Royal SAS hotel in Copenhagen. The Danish designer was not only in charge of designing the building but also the furniture and equipment down to the last details.
The sophisticated shape of the Arne Jacobsen cutlery, rather than patterns or any other ornament make their beauty, and the collection is often, rightly called, “cutlery without frills”. Made in stainless steel, their lines are perfectly fluid thanks to their seamless form.
Their long and delicate body makes them particularly light and comfortable to hold.
