Designed in 1952, the Cow Horn chair is the immediate sequel to the round PP501/PP503 chair that marked Wegner's career. The continuity of form and philosophy is obvious, but the chair was designed for a different purpose. Wegner created a smaller chair that slides easily under the table, making it more suitable for the dining room as a whole.
Form is a functional chair with a simple design. Its polypropylene shell, very ergonomic, is combined with a wooden or steel base. The different materials meet in an elegant way and contribute to accentuate the high quality craftsmanship, leaving the furniture with a clean and simple expression.
This is the three-legged version of the ferry chair. Excellent comfort, practical and with a strength and durability to outlast daily use for generations.
Design, 1953. The Valet Chair is about the problems in folding clothes in the most practical manner at bedtime. Unites function with a playful sculptural design. The top rail is shaped as a coat hanger while the seat is basically a box for storing.
