The danish company Hay was founded in 2002 and presented for the fist time, in 2003, its collection of furnitures at the IMM fair in Cologne.

The objective of its creators was to bring up to date the innovations of the 50’s and the 60’s, incorporating new and original ideas from young talents but in the meantime the knowledge of designers already established.

From this concept is born a collection of chairs, armchairs and tables with recognisable danish lines.
