In their archives, Kasthall collect samples of thousands of patterns that have been tested over the years. In 2015, designer Maja Johansson Starander rediscovered and reinterpreted a pattern that had been preserved since the 1960s.

The result is Muse, a modern retro classic woven in 100% wool.

Muse is a treasure from the Kasthall archives, which was reinterpreted and developed to create this modern woven rug. The weaving technique used to create the pattern gives a clear texture that is both tactile and robust. The interplay between the pattern and the bright colour combinations creates a playful look that enhances any environment.

The rug is available in six different colour combinations, faithful to the original rug in our archive.
