Design Magnus Læssøe Stephensen, 1935

Inspired by the Japanese design tradition, this inviting armchair is characterised by dramatic simplicity and a relaxed presence. Affirmative and refined, the chair invites users to relax in comfort and is ideal for lounging.  Stephensen has given the TMBO series its characteristic curved shape. This design choice, combined with the promise to support your back as you recline, reflects a harmonious blend of comfort, purpose and optimism.
