PP505 - CHAISE COW HORN
Designed in 1952, the Cow Horn chair is the immediate sequel to the round PP501/PP503 chair that marked Wegner's career. The continuity of form and philosophy is obvious, but the chair was designed for a different purpose. Wegner created a smaller chair that slides easily under the table, making it more suitable for the dining room as a whole.
LIT DE JOUR GE1
Designed by Hans Wegner in 1954, the GE 1 bench, daybed, chaise, and footstool all in one, is a stylish, and hugely versatile piece of furniture. One side adjusts to create a backrest or can be lowered for flat bench seating, and the third section can be separated for use as a footstool or further seating.
PK80 DAYBED
Design Poul Kjaerholm, 1957
The PK80 daybed is a perfect balance between form and the chosen materials. It is minimalist but sophisticated. Its cushion can be upholstered in leather or in canvas Natural. Its base is in satin stainless steel.
The PK80 day bed is in the galleries of the Museum of Modern Art in New York since 2004.
